Get someone who knows the car to look at it, not just a grease monkey. I bet Rob would collect it from you........
If it is repairable, but the insurance want to write it off (’cos they are a tight bunch), then buy it off them for “spares” and get Rob to fix it. Once repaired it would only need an engineers report to get it back on the road.
