You need to compile and install the example application in /Developer/Examples/Quartz Composer/Application/Player/ If you DO NOT WANT the user to be able to exit from the application, remove the lines of code about the Escape Key. It turns off all user input for system events so you can't use any hot key to change applications, users or restart the computer.
