Hi all,
Trying to work around several problems at once, appreciate all the
help...
* First problem: We can't use multiple DV / Firewire inputs, so we are
using an old G5 with three Miglia Alchemy DVR cards.
* The Miglia cards don't work in 10.5, so we are in 10.4.11
* We want to have the GUI on one screen, and the playback on the 2nd
screen. Trying to avoid the "make a wide composition and stretch it
across two monitors" solution.
* I found the Spooky Patch which is a great solution:

Sending an image with the patch works great in 10.5, but unfortunately
it doesn't seem to work in 10.4.11 -- all we get is a blank white
image. I tried both the 0.1 and 0.2 versions.
So I'm stuck again. Is there a way programatically in QC2 (10.4.11)
to emulate the spooky patch? e.g. to have 2 QC renderers that can
share input/output image objects?
As always, thanks for all the suggestions. So close to solving this,
yet so far away!
