Thanks Christopher that did it. I was so excited to play with QC 4 that I forgot to check for other snow leopard related updates. I'm a GL tools user and Kineme 3D for that matter! Your products are great and very useful.

thanks,

Morgan

I think this is probably a problem with my install. Should I reinstall snow leopard or do another upgrade? I upgraded to 10.6.1, but this was happening at 10.6

I can't see your first image, but I'm assuming you have GLTools installed (from kineme.net)? If so, please upgrade -- there are some known issues with older versions on Snow Leopard. Check ~/ Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Patches, or /Library/Graphics/ Quartz Composer Patches. Some 3rd-party software installs this plugin, which may be the source if you didn't install it yourself. (I'm the author of that plugin, by the way, so if you want to yell at someone you now have my email address ;)

If you're not using GLTools, check to make sure your blend port is set to Over, not Replace.

If neither of those fix the issue, please post the composition for others to inspect.
