Hmmm... inconclusive then. I's definitely not restoring properly on Juan's machine, and I know of one other person who's tried it and it's not worked as intended. I created an earlier composition on my MacBook Pro, then tried to open it on my MacPro, and the Octaves setting didn't restore correctly (though not in the same way is it screwed-up on Juan's MBP). There's definitely a bug there, and one that's not limited to a single OS version or hardware type.

Dan, could you possibly do me a favour and test this more complicated composition for me? It should respond to MIDI notes in the octave starting from C1.

MIDI Note Receiver in attached QTZ should have 120 output ports (C-2 to B7), or all octaves selected in inspector.
