Out of curiosity, did you try a restart? I'm not 100% sure, but I think sometimes that error can be triggered by an OS glitch (but it may be well legitimate for many cases, I imagine.)
I've seen that message on mac mini-installs and had it disappear on reboot (and all QC stuff work properly thereafter).
