I understand that this is relevant to Quartz Composer because QC is one of the only places (outside Xcode) to use OpenCL, but I'm afraid there may not be enough expertise on this list to fully answer your questions. I'm also afraid that there may not be a good place for you to ask those questions, depending on your developer level. The developer forum for OpenCL is here: https://devforums.apple.com/community/mac/gandm/opencl However, I don't know if everyone here has access since it was created as a place to discuss SnowLeopard features among developers who were under NDA. It's worth seeing if you have access now because answering those kinds of questions is right up the ally for that forum. If not, let me know. Maybe I can ask around to get that opened up or a new public developer list created, now that OpenCL is shipping and not under NDA.
