I'm having a drink in the name of American innovation.
I would venture to suggest that through emulation such a thing is
possible. However the true possibility lies in the ability for us to
all sign an NDA? I don't mind keeping it in a group, but it does seem
that to produce anything of control over apple hardware and the
exploration of new ideas requires some sort of legal disclosure, that
to date has not been completly disclosed. The issue of compatibility
has long plagued the development and interaction of the apple
platform. Would it not be wise to take a select group and allow them
to work independtly of current status quo and allow them the ability
to engineer and create in the effort to improve relations/development
of not only the operating system but it's integration with other
hardware. Such a venture need not invite consumers but rather
proffesional engineers and creatives seeking to push the boundries of
the equipment.
In this new year may we open some doors, slowly and securely?
some cents.
Sincerely,
Joshua Sophrin

I understand that this is relevant to Quartz Composer ...
Can Quartz Composer be operated on a Mac Pro such that it recognizes
anything other than the Intel processors?
The developer forum for OpenCL is here:
https://devforums.apple.com/community/mac/gandm/opencl
Thanks. I will move the OpenCL discussion to that list.
