Thanks for this.  It appears to solve my random system hardlock issue,
along with the intel_idle.max_cstate=1 kernel boot parameter, on a
Celeron N3160-based system.  That basically confirms that the problem
is with the hardware or Linux kernel, and that Xen and Qubes are not
to blame.
