Absolutely not - especially for such a project. Google is a terrible company in regards to computing freedom and freedom in general. Hell they even recently removed their "dont be evil" slogan, and are now being evil with a variety of projects even fully automatic killer drones and tracking people everywhere by ignoring the location data setting and putting cameras and microphones everywhere. People should not be forced to have gmail accounts nor have to complete their re-captchas[1] or enable javascript.
