Well, Qubes just uses cryptsetup/LUKS/dm-crypt from upstream, so you should really be looking for that in the cryptsetup documentation (FAQ): https://gitlab.com/cryptsetup/cryptsetup/wikis/FrequentlyAskedQuestions > And people still has to do it manually.
