Qubes requires quite a bit of work and managing of Linux packages to get running as you would like it. I suggest using a second computer initially that you can use to get familiar with it.
I have the same issue with booting into BIOS with an SSD. It boots too fast and I miss the prompt half the time. When you get to the Boot prompt (likely f9) select boot from USB. You'll have option as to where to boot from. You need to have a bootable USB drive on the USB. You can find the directions online. If you have any other issues just shoot me an email directly. I'll walk you through any issues. My email is in the list. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group.
