My Opinion:  For a truly definitive answer that you can prove is not
out of date the only place to look is the source code that you
compiled yourself.    The current version is here.

In general you can read the docs on the web site but if you have a
detailed question like "what does this flag REALLY do?"  you can never
know if the docs are 100% correct or up to date.
