Seems to be working for me.  Client is FreeNAS (stable, FreeBSD based).  Server 
is Linux.

Make sure you are putting the %iface qualifier on the address.  For me - this 
is re0 in FreeBSD, so:

fe80::fa32:e4ff:feXX:XXXX%re0
