told you why they didn't think that it was an improvement, and you
responded by complaining that David didn't want to run an experiment
that he didn't see value in. Lucas politely asked you to take it
elsewhere. With that said, if you in fact think that Lucas behaved
inappropriately, I encourage you to take it up with the ADs.
This was predictable from the IETF list. It has acted out exactly as
expected. IETF fiefdoms are a real problem.
