??? OK..so if i were writing a scan to identify stocks with a certain yield, blind from the database, how would I pick this stock? Is their a scan function for stock type?..is there a function in Excel? In other words, in a scan, how would a differential kmr from other stocks so that i know what i am getting?
How is the yield calculated for KMR? Is .83 used or 1.02? I think kmr's dividend should be shown as .83 or whatever so that people can compare apples to apples when writing a scan. What is there now is very problematic. IMHO. KMR is not the only stock without a dividend update. --- In [email protected], "optiontrader3290" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Step 1: Note the dividend type is shown as type 10. > Step 2: Check dividend type in QP Help - Hint it shows as stock > dividend type 10. > Step 3: Convert .81 to percentage of stock price. > Step 4: Round off to 1.02 > > No problem. > > Hopefully QP will pickup the last dividend soon. > > > --- In [email protected], "investor0329" <mb0329@> wrote: > > > > According to QP, the last 4 dividends were in the amount of 1.02, > 1.02, > > 1.02 and 1.02, with the last one having an ex-dividend date of > 7/27/06 > > and a payable date of 8/14/06.
