Not true regarding kmr dividend yield not being anywhere.

http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=kmr

Check out the above link. Yahoo shows the yield on KMR to be 6.7%.
You are right, QP shows it to be 0, which is misleading to someone
trying to find a stock with a good stock.

I do own the stock. I did not pick it with QP. I believe I found it
with a stock screener at MSN...that shows a divvy for it. So, who is
using industry standards? To be fair, I just checked the Merrill
Lynch site and they show 0% as well. Also misleading.

Recently I bought 2 stocks that have been making me good money that I
would never have picked using QP because of the dividend issues. They
are KMR and BGF...both of which I found using other internet
screeners. Looks like all screeners have their problems and
weaknesses so I now use multiple screeners.

What did you mean by your 'beanbag' reference. Made no sense to me.
You are right..it takes effort..but all effort is worthless if the
data 'efforted' on ain't right...or complete...or up to date.

What is the variable in QP scan for identifying the stock type? I
just looked and could not find one. I may be wrong, but I vaguely
remember Gary once writing that there is none...though I may be wrong
and apologize if this is so. What is the variable name in QP scan,
and/or Excel? Thx.
