Hi all,
I am working on the Debian/Ubuntu package for QuteCom. I am trying to
make a releasable-for-testing version of tag RC2.
The package is nearly ready and, if you are interested, you can find the
the debian-specific scripts in http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-voip/qutecom

I had to apply some patches that might be interesting for upstream
inclusion:
http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-voip/qutecom/trunk/debian/patches/generic/

cmake-static-coredumper.patch
-- link coredumper statically instead of as a shared library

getcurrentdatetime.patch
-- fix missing include that make the function to get the build date fail

googlebreakpad-64bit.patch
-- make ENABLE_CRASHREPORT enable/disable googlebreakpad, and disable on
all architectures except x86

install-qutecom.patch
-- install in PREFIX/share/qutecom instead of PREFIX/share/wengophone

cmake-repo-revision-uotes.patch
-- fix missing quotes in cmake script to handle the the case of building
without having mercurial information available

desktop-file-update.patch
-- fix executable name and improve comments

Please let me think what do you think about them.

Unfortunately I am still experiencing two issues that make it still
unsuitable for upload:
-crash when using video
-crash when adding an IM account on 64 bit

I am sending a proper bug report about those two issues in the next two
posts to this ML.

Thanks,
Ludovico
