the problem with the midi implementation chart is the way it is laid out. As far as something understandable on SysX to me is that you would use 0A in the motif (not sure if that's the 000af7 or something like that) but it looks like they use the values 0 and 1 for toggling the status of the local on and off, so in a way they no longer work as two separate controllers or commands it seems.
