R 4.1 is not available for Fedora 34. Instead, see
https://cran.r-project.org/bin/linux/fedora/#toolbox-container-based-development

Should be a temporary issue. But that's just the source of that
document, a git repository, why would you want to access this?

Again (see above) my suggestion is to use toolbox to install R 4.1
from the official repos. No need to compile.
