Hi Inaki, Your instructions worked perfectly for installing "toolbox" and I could start R-4.1.1-1 in my local terminal (konsole). However, I can't seem to build a new version of plotrix:
[root@jimACER jim]# toolbox run --release 35 R CMD build jimACER://home/jim/R/plotr ix Error: directory /home/jim not found in container fedora-toolbox-35 Using /root instead. During startup - Warning messages: 1: Setting LC_CTYPE failed, using "C" 2: Setting LC_TIME failed, using "C" 3: Setting LC_MESSAGES failed, using "C" 4: Setting LC_MONETARY failed, using "C" 5: Setting LC_PAPER failed, using "C" 6: Setting LC_MEASUREMENT failed, using "C" ERROR cannot change to directory 'jimACER://home/jim/R/plotrix' I also tried using "localhost" for the loopback server, got the same result. I'll try building R-4.1.1 from source on my ancient DELL desktop. If I can get a build I can then check it using --as-cran, cross my fingers and submit it. I'll get back to you if I'm still stuck. Thanks.
