Dear all,
We are pleased to announce two upcoming online courses focused on spatial
omics, designed to provide both foundational training and advanced analytical
skills in this rapidly evolving field.

1 - Spatial Omics in R/Bioconductor
Dates: 18–20 May
Instructor: Dr. Stefano Mangiola (South Australian immunoGENomics Cancer
Institute, Australia)

This course introduces the core concepts and technologies behind spatial omics,
with a strong focus on practical data analysis in R/Bioconductor. Participants
will learn how to work with both sequencing- and imaging-based spatial data,
apply tidy data principles, and perform key analyses such as spatial
differential expression and cell–cell interaction studies.

2 - Spatial Omics Data Analysis: From Raw Data to AI Insights
Dates: 14–16 September
Instructors: Dr. Sara Jiménez & Tim Treis (Helmholtz Munich, Germany)

This course provides an end-to-end workflow for spatial omics data analysis,
from raw data processing and quality control to advanced spatial statistics and
AI-based approaches. Participants will explore spatial structure, gene-level
patterns, cell–cell communication, and modern deep learning methods, with a
strong emphasis on reproducibility and practical application.

These trainings are ideal for researchers working in single-cell biology,
spatial transcriptomics, computational biology, and bioinformatics who want to
strengthen their analytical skills in spatial omics.

Best regards,
Carlo
