Dear list,

I'm writing to promote this month's issue of Methods in Ecology and Evolution,
which is now online and contains a special feature edited by Luke Harmon and I,
titled "Unifying fossils and phylogenies for comparative analyses of
diversification and trait evolution". The feature contains original articles by
Peter Wagner, Gene Hunt, Dave Bapst, Tom Ezard and myself, all of which aim to
provide ways of integrating paleontological information into phylogenetic and
comparative analyses or highlight what can be done when performing comparative
analyses using phylogenies containing fossil species. I think many on this list
serve will find the articles of interest.

The issue is available here:
http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/mee3.2013.4.issue-8/issuetoc. I'm
also happy to provide pdfs to anyone unable to access them on request (let me
know which ones you want).

Cheers,

Graham (& Luke)
