The YouTube that comes on is not as indicative of what goes on in Second Life
for this event as the third and fourth one listed in the column to your right.
That features some of the builds that went on last year in virtual reality.

PS: Pat, how do you set fire to clothing or objects? Or avatars? I would like
to ride in on a horse as a burning Celtic Goddess: Epona. Hee!

Speaking of promotional videos, here's the promo for Burning Life 2008 -- for
those of us who are too lazy (or too chicken) to go to Burning Man for a week
of craziness in the desert.

PS: To answer Sarah's question (asked off-list), Burning Life is an open
event. They are still doing the "land grab" thing for people who want to
install art. Once everything is in place, the rest of us can just wander in and
have fun.

I have a flaming bicycle that flies, and will be riding it in my nun costume.
At least on one day. Gotta come up with other clothes & objects for other days.
  : )

The trailer for Nancy's Dogs is available:

I didn't realize until recently that book trailers even existed, let alone
that they have become a marketing essential.
