For the record, I think that line is a bit dated. It's a good line for
hustling the CL people in the audience, though. :)
In terms of support strictly for *functional* programming, I think it's true.
My bad; I misparsed the text and then edited out a key part. That'll
teach me to shoot off my mouth at 3am. It's especially bad of me, since
I have been wanting better library support/interoperation for FP. :)
