Paperclipped doesn't use RMagick (thanks to the paperclip plugin), instead it directly accesses ImageMagick which does wonders for memory consumption. You can drag and drop assets into the edit page text area. ALL assets are accessible to all pages, unlike page attachments where it didn't give you access to any previously uploaded attachments (you'd have to re-upload it or access it via another page or it's parent page using additional radiant tags).
