If you have access to the configuration of this smtp- server permit the ip of your webserver to use the smtp-server for relaying emails.
In postfix extend 'mynetworks' in /etc/postfix/main.cf: mynetworks = 127.0.0.0/8, ip.of.your.webserver If you have no access, you should use authentication. -jerry On 16.10.2009, at 00:13, Simon Rönnqvist wrote:
But what I'm trying to do is to use a smtp-server that does not require autentication when contacted from it's local network.
