Hi, I am trying to develop a Radiant 1.0.0RC2 site on my localhost. I run the command:
shotgun -s thin -p 3000 -d I then fire up my browser to locahost:3000/ and watch. .... with horror... kidding... it is pretty ugly though. My gemset for REE 1.8.7 is very very very complete.. with gems of all sorts... but Radiant gem, being a vendored rails thing... ignores all that, and spews endless crap. eg: .rvm/gems/ree-1.8.7-2011.03/gems/radiant-1.0.0.rc2/vendor/rails/ activesupport/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:469 - uninitialized constant ActionMailer Or this one... .rvm/gems/ree-1.8.7-2011.03/gems/radiant-1.0.0.rc2/vendor/rails/ activesupport/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:469 - uninitialized constant Merb now.. why on earth do I need Merb? Ok.. so whatever... Is there a way to use the radiant gem and have it play nice without the vendored rails...??? I am quite capable of using Bundler and my Gemfile to ensure Radiant is happy, but apparently this is not possible with the current radiant gem? Anyone know of the right way to deal with this? Thanks! Would be nice to develop Radiant on localhost without it being a huge mess...it is soooo slooooowwww
