My experience is that the passwordlogfile is only written for users
authenticated by file, and doesn't work for users authenticated by NT.

I have not been able to make it work for Realms, and it doesn't
work as a global, so my next attempt was going to be figuring
out how to use Handlers even though all I really need (and
use now) is Realms.
