My annoyance with OWS is directed more toward the Marxist element of the movement, which is just using a down economy to peddle a known failure. It's not much different than how the Tea Party repackaged libertarianism with evangelical elements and turned it into a movement. There's nothing new here.
Unlike a lot of these countries with large scale protests and demonstrations, we actually have a system of government which allows constructive change, so it's disappointing that these protesters insist on keeping up with this "we're angry and have no new ideas" charade rather than doing something productive. Do they actually want me to sympathize with brute anger that exists without a sense of reason? Anger is easy. Solutions are hard. Protesters went the easier route. -- Centroids: The Center of the Radical Centrist Community <[email protected]> Google Group: http://groups.google.com/group/RadicalCentrism Radical Centrism website and blog: http://RadicalCentrism.org
