Hi - just wanted to give my details. Classic, Boom works all the time. Just bought a radio. Connects to mysqueezebox.com via wireless.
Radio wakes me up at 6.45 then I go to work - radio is inactive - when home again in the afternoon I _always_ need to do a powercycle (blue network icon... never seen the red icon), because no presets works and because it cannot connect. The powercycle _always_ fixes the problem. I think I might get another alarm clock, since I cannot rely on radio to wake me up!!!. As others point out too: this is my first experience with a faulty squeezebox - I really hope that this issue get sorted out.
