I would think you could install Squeezebox Server on your laptop as well as your desktop. That should allow you to control your iTunes library. Just make sure you point to your music library (iTunes Music Library.xml Location) under the iTunes tab of Advanced Settings for Squeezebox server Control Panel. I have not tried this, but it sounds like it should work.
