This sure is easier said than done. Logitech has NEVER been any good
as post sale support issues. I get mad and yet I still continue to buy
their products... partially because no one else makes the same products
we have a demand for.

Logitech products that I've been burned by:
iFeel mouse (no longer supported)
Wireless keyboard no longer supported by their software (aka no windows
7 support, and no plans to do it)
Countless webcams where drivers are no longer available.
handheld scanners which stopped working with software updates and new
versions (obviously I don't expect them to still be supported, but I'd
like maybe a few years of lifespan out of an expensive product like
that)
The harmony 880 remote suffered a charging base issue rending my remote
useless for the most part.
The harmony software setup doesn't allow all options. You call them to
get your visio TV to switch inputs correctly and they fix it on their
end and you are all set. If you need to do that for another TV (since
my sister has the same TV) I can't do it myself, I have to call them
again and complain (problem is that if the remote is older than 1 year,
they charge you for this service)

I can go on, but it just gets me worked up. Logitech makes great
products that work well for a few days ;) Then they make you buy new
products... sounds a lot like Apple.
