Certainly Logitech is not the only one on the marketing hype. I bought a Samsung BD-P1600 blu-ray player over Christmas. Terrible piece of hardware. Junk. Junk. Junk. I believed the advertising about Netflix, Youtube, etc being able to be accessed and played through the player. The player freezes, quits, advertised functions don't work, etc.
Too late to return it. So I have to live with it. Maybe a firmware update will fix it (though a previous firmware update actually ruined some players)Who knows. If it doesn't,I will know not to give Samsung any more of my money. I blogged about it...and that's the end of it. You can read reviews, read customer feedback, etc......it still requires a bit of faith to buy something. Every once in awhile we get burned. (I have a whole other story about a Sony 400 cd player, replaced four times and ended up in the garage as junk) I am sorry to hear about the problems people are having with the radio. It is tarring the image of a product line that had an excellent reputation.
