ThunderLips - You probably know this, but your Power Button can function in two (2) different ways. If you push the power button quickly and don't hold the button in, your radio goes in to a "standby" mode similar to your computer's standby mode. From the standby mode, another quick touch will turn it back on without going through the entire re-boot process. If you hold the power button down for a couple of seconds while the radio is on, You will get a "hard shutdown" similar to the hard shutdown on your computer using the power button. When restarting the radio from from a hard (Complete) shutdown, the radio will go through a complete reboot and play it's little start-up music. Stay Safe and Wave our American Flag High!
