Needing your computer to not sleep just to maintain a connection between your Radio and your router seems very strange. - Are you using some sort of Internet Connection Sharing through your computer? - Are you using a WiFi router as the AP? I presume you are. - Are you sure the Radio is losing it's WiFi connection, or is it losing it's connection to your SBS server? Radio's WiFi indicator colors: Red = not connected to your network (router) Blue = connected to your network, but not connected to a server (SBS or MySB) White = connected to your network and connected to a server (SBS or MySB)
You are correct that the MAC address is the same for both wired and wireless, I just verified this myself.
