But they are not just simple streaming servers. They are proxy servers
with transcoding function. 

Are you saying that the SBR ALWAYS has to connect either SBS or
MySB.com? It never does the streaming from streaming servers (i.e.
stations) directly? I doubt that is the case because I just can not
imagine how MySB.com can handle the worst cast situation in which all
SB devices Logitech ever sold and will sell (e.g. Radio, Boom and
Touch...) try to connect and stream at the same time from that server.

Yes, it works with SBS. But I don't like the idea that I need to run
another computer in order to use the SBR. I found that MySB.com can in
fact handle some MMS streams without any problems. Does anyone know
what is the exact problems (e.g. settings on the streaming server) that
cause MySB server to fail? Maybe I can convince the station to make
change or correction.
