I am not one of the experts on these forums. As an idea though, perhaps since you are in a small apartment, you may be experiencing interferences with other neighbor's wireless settings. Maybe by changing your routers settings (channels) could help you or moving your router's location away from potential interferences. Just a thought. Good luck.
