I might be, but am short of time at the moment. I did have a quick look
at the SSH applet on my Radio itself and it didn't look too hard, but I
imagine there's quite a lot to learn about the APIs and packaging.

My initial thought for design would be:
* a 1-level pick list of sounds, hard-coded at the moment (I suspect
they're static, or almost static)
* the sounds would be a subset of the full effects, musical etc - I
think many can be easily ruled out (blender for example!)

Nice to have features:
* test play the sound 3 times in a row
* be able to choose an MP3 of your own (perhaps by URL or on SBS?) and
test play it (it would make sure it wasn't bigger than a certain,
small, size)
* it could bundle the default one too (I couldn't find it on the MSB
website by URL guessing) to set it back (choice) if someone removed the
app
* instructions/command names in the main languages

Oh, and it could have a Twitter feed for screen-saver ;)

PS. should we be moving this app discussion over to a different forum
now?

Was: SB Radio 7.5.1-r9218 + MSB only
Recent switch to: SBS 7.6 nightly build on O2 Joggler/USB disk + SB
Radio 7.6.0 r9298 (wired)... working great so far (much more reliable
than MSB)!
