I have been using a Radio, with a Radio 4 stream as an alarm for the best part of a year, and it has always woken me up (apart from after a small child intervention). Note:
- I am running SBS on a NAS - The NAS comes on 3/4 of an hour before the alarm - The radio stream sometimes fails, and I am woken by the default noise. This is awful, and I have now changed this to a more standard alarm noise - instructions around somewhere - Radio takes up far les room than the Boom - I have one of these too, and would not conteplate it for a bedside alarm...
