I don't think anyone else shares the exact problem you have, and I
suspect it is caused by something in your network setup. 

So unless you do something about your network, it's probably not going
to fix itself.

You could try these settings, they work well with DD-WRT r14896 running
on a WRT-320N and/or a WRT-160N:

NG-Mixed
Channel: Whatever.
Channel Width: 20 MHz.
SSID Broadcast: Enable (important!)
ACK Timing: should NOT be zero, as it can have severe side effects
IME.
Network config: Bridged.

Radius: Disable.

Security mode: WPA2 Personal.
WPA Algorithms: TKIP+AES.
Key Renewal: 3600.

Mac filter: Disable.

Auth. type: Auto.
Basic rate: Default.
MIMO fixed rate: Auto.
Transmission fixed rate: Auto.
CTS Protection: Disable.
Frame burst: Disable.
Beacon interval: 100
DTIM interval: 1
Frag threshold: 2346.
RTS threshold: 2347.
Max associated clients: 128.
AP Isolation: Disable.
TX and RX antennae: Auto.
Preamble: Auto
Slashdot override: Auto
TX Power: Don't burn up your router.
Afterburner: Disable
Bluetooth coexistence mode: Enable.
WMM support: Enable.
No Ack: Disable.
