I am also expeirencing this problem, I think only since the last update (7.5.4, I think). My Squeezebox radio looses the connection to the server while my Squeezebox Touch (which is syched with SBR - or rather the other way around) continues playing fine. The Radio was standing less than one meter from the WIFI Router while the Touch was about 10 meters away in another room.
In my view, this clearly indicates that its not a problem with the WIFI and not one of the server either but with Squeezebox Radio.
