Maybe. However, I have switched my two radios around and the problem
stays with the radio. In other words, no matter where in the house I
use "Radio A", it always works fine. And "Radio B" never works
correctly, no matter where I place it.

That is why, more and more, I think it IS hardware related, like bad
batches and/or 2nd source suppliers (as someone said. Seems logical to
me.

I am just lucky that I also got one of the (few?) good ones that
slipped by! I am completely happy with it!
