Well thanks for giving me the possible options guys. Appreciate it. Dad is the type that wants it "off off" (not standby) when he is not in the room so he is not a fan of standby. He is willing to wait out the boot-up every time, back to the future he said, like having one of his old tube amps. all over again.
So you are saying that what I experienced at first (at power on playing of last station resumed) was not normal behavior? Hmmmmm.... I swear that is what it was doing. I thought I messed up a factory or default setting somehow? I was contemplating a complete reset to factory and then reprogramming presets, favorites, shortcut button etc. but it sounds like that would just be a waste of time? When a complete reset of the radio is done does it wipe out the stations in my favorites on mysqueezebox.com or are they preserved there and then reloaded to the radio? It would be nice to have the option of automatic resume of the last playing upon power on w/o having to use SBS.
