not 100% sure about POE (if this is what it is called). Be careful,
there is also an adapter than can provide electrical power over an
ethernet cable. That's something different (used for example, when you
have some appliance connected to ethernet that also needs a small
amount of electrical power to operate...then you can provide the power
and ethernet at the same time).  But what you need is something that
will mimic an ethernet line by using your home's electrical wiring.
