Avast shouldn't be a problem - use it and no issues. The main issue is the mysb.com account - you set up an account at mysqueezebox.com page? Make sure you enter the same info in the Control Panel.
If the worst comes to the worst ... completely uninstall LMS (from Win control panel uninstall). There must be a Factory Reset option for the radio. Do that, and start again! Set up radio to connect to mysb.com. Get that working first. Then install 7.7.1 - set mysb.com account in control panel. Then, set up just one local media folder. Drastic, yes. But at least we get back to ground zero.
