As the originator of the thread, I thought I would post about my experience. So I did buy 2 Squeezebox Radios, and from a usage point of view they've been a huge success. It is not uncommon now to come home and see my youngest lying on her bed or playing with something while she listens to an audiobook. My genre's are fairly well organised, so it is not too difficult to find the audiobooks only. On the hardware side, well, one of them kept disconnecting from the wifi router. Having two meant I could move them around to find out if it was the location or whether one of them really was faulty. So having found that it was the same if I moved it, and the other one was stable, I had one replaced and it is now working flawlessly.
