Nothing unexpected with that. You are using the web remote to control your player, but you don't have any player at your work so naturally you will not hear anything. The remote is just that, a remote, it's not supposed to output any sound. You might install Squeezeplay (download from http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.7), it should output sound, but I'm not sure you can get it to sync with the favourites from your Radio.
