Sad, sad, sad. Maybe some Venture Capitalist or Trust-Fund-Kid in search
of a hobby can step in and buy the intellectual capital of SB from
Logitech. There's still money-making potential for a small operation
here. Logitech's approach of turning Slim Devices product line for tech
savvy music aficionados with very specific needs into high volume
user-friendly plug-n-play hardware product line failed. Why?... You name
it... bad marketing, bureaucracy and indifference from the top Logitech
honchos just looking to turn a quick profit. Slim Devices was very much
a small community influenced private operation that "relied" on third
party developers and feedback from the community to enhance its product
line. Logitech was never that.
