yes, as pippin notes, with ipeng and squeezepad, ithings can be Squeezeboxes (and I'm very impressed with ipeng's latest player capabilities (24/96 file passthrough, ability to perfectly sync with other players, gapless.....brilliant stuff). So I could probably go on for many years with existing LMS and things like ipeng and squeezepad. The only thing I'm a bit concerned about is ability to connect with services. LMS will work forever with my local music and internet radio with URL favorites. But I also use MOG, sirusXM, and tunein (when I can't find a direct URL for internet radio). For these items I believe I must have the mysqueezebox.com credentials (in LMS) to make the required handshakes. If this functionality of mysb.com could be done by third party LMS plugins, I'd be perfectly happy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96188 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
